Vintage Advertising is a lot of fun to look at and gives us a snapshot of what life was like in the days of yore.
In this image, we have an advertisement from McCall's Needlework magazine from the fall and winter issue of 1950-1951.
It fascinating to think of women celebrating moving from a cloth tape measure to knitting needles which had them built right in.
