Collectible Plates | Star Trek
Star Trek Collectible Plates
I always enjoy collectible categories which can go across more than one area of interest, and that's the case with these nice Star Trek collectible plates.
Some of the cross-collectible categories include plates, Star Trek, sci fi and spaceships. It's not always obvious to those interested in one specific collectible category what the other ones are.
These are very nice looking plates though, and for anyone that has interest in any of the collectible themes included here would enjoy a nice addition to their collections.

Collectible Military | Diecast Green Humvee
Collectible Military
This military green diecast Humvee is 1/18th scale and a great military collectible to add to your collection.
The doors look great and you have to love that machine gun and seat on the top of the vehicle.
You can also open the hood of the vehicle from near the glass windshield forward, which adds a nice look, and you can get a good look at the reprouced engine.
A great diecast military humvee vehicle.

Classic Film Posters | 1931 Dracula
Classic Film Posters
Classic film posters are always in high demand, and there are less and less of them available as time goes on, which even drives more interest in them in hopes of being able to obtain a rare glimpse at film history past.
This film poster from 1931 Dracula is a highly desired poster, and from the detail and look you can see why.
Like most film posters, including classic film, you have mulitple collectible groups vying to get them. From the Dracula poster you have horror fans in general, Dracula fans, film fans, Bela Lugosi fan and vampire fans, among others.
So any one of those from these genre interests would love to get a hold of this classic 1931 Dracula film poster and showcase it as part of their collection.

Antique Toilet Photo
Antique Toilet
This is pretty fance for a toilet of any kind, even by today's standards. Remove the toilet and you also have a nice piece of antique furniture to enjoy looking at.
It does look a little uncomfortable though, and those arms could definitely get in the way of doing your final business. But it is nice looking an novelty just as it is.
Now if you noticed the antique candle holder and candle, it does make me wonder if it was used for light or odor; or probably both.

Antique Hardware | Door Pull Knob
Antique Hardware
Among the enormous number of antique hardware pieces out there, finding antique knobs or door pulls are among the most fun and exciting finds you can have it you're in the market for them.
There's just something about these little hardware pieces from the past that make them very attractive and enjoyable to use; even if you're only collecting and not using them for any practical reason.
Another great part of collecting antique hardware is it can still be found for relatively low prices, and it's not that rare that you don't stumble across it.

Vintage Footwear | Victorian Boot
Vintage Shoes and Boots
Ladies in the Victorian age were more plump, while many of their shoes or boots were made for a more petite woman.
The result was the pain you might feel when attempting to fit into a Victorian boot like the one above.
Still, a lot of women love this boot style, and are more than willing to go through some foot pain to look great in a pair of these Victorian boots.

Collectible Fashion | Chanel Classic Flap Bag
Collectible Fashion
Chanel Classic Flap Bags are favorites of certain collectors, although since the release of the Chanel Reissue 2.55 has caused all sorts of problems for those trying to identify the Classic Flap.
A couple of things to remember to help with that is the original Chanel Classic Flap Bags had the double CC turn-style lock, whereas the reissues had what was called the Mademoiselle lock, which is identified by its retangular shape.
Another characteristic of the original Chanel Classic Flaps were the bag handles, which would include interwoven leather in the chain links. The newer reissues don't have that.

Collectible Diecast Car | 1951 Ford F1 Pickup Truck
Collectible Diecast Car
The quality of diecast cars have always been part of the experience of collecting them, and in the case of this 1951 Ford F1 pickup, they don't disappoint, as it's a great replica and accurate in detail.
And while I'm not a big fan of dark green, in the case of this diecast truck, it really works and makes it look like a period piece. Great diecast Ford F1.

Collectible Guns | Officer's Model Special
Collectible Dolls | Vintage Barbie Dolls
Collectible Dolls
Collectible, vintage Barbie dolls are identified by those made before 1972. The themes of Barbie's are especially developed primarily for collectors, although many parents buy them for their girls anyway, and they become little friends to play with.
Usually you recognize the Barbie dolls made for play by the pink box they come in.
Barbie's are also made in a fashion designer collection which also includes a grading system.
Collecting Barbie's of any type and year is a lot of fun, and can be very lucrative if you're willing to part with them and sell them to other collectors.
And if you don't want to sell them, you can still have fun as an adult placing them in all types of scenarios to enjoy. Also, don't forget those accessories for Barbie which can also add to the value and fun of collecting.

Coca Cola Collectibles | Portable Cooler
Coca Cola Collectibles
Coca Cola collectibles will probaby be one of the more compelling there are, and I learned that first hand about 15 years ago when I got a large, old Coca Cola cooler on wheels (the type that looks like a six foot wide deep freezer).
Not a few hours after I got it home and someone saw it, I was offered a very nice sum for the cooler, which I ended up turning down.
While this cooler here isn't at that quality and level, it's still something most fans of vintage Coca Cola collectibles desire.
If you ever come across one for a good price, do a little research before selling it if you're not a Coca Cola collector, or take bids on it, as you can attract top dollar for the Coca Cola Cooler.

Vintage Postcard | Will Rogers Airport
Vintage Postcard
Vintage postcards are among the more popular collectibles, and always gives a fantastic snapshot of the past, and in many cases like the one here, great art and an interesting way to communicate what was attempting to be portrayed.
This one of from the Will Rogers World Airport when it was called the Oklahoma City Air Terminal.
While difficult to see from the photo, it is a textured postcard from the era, although it has no date on it.

Antique Marbles | 500 Years Old
Antique Marbles
These marbles obviously don't carry the color and quality of today's marbles, even relatively old ones, but these marbles displayed here are in excavated condition, and yet sill have, in some cases, some of their shine left on them.
Some of the antique marbles even look like a birds' egg you've come across.
Pretty cool to see some marbles from the 15th and 16th centuries, which are up to 600years old.

Antique Lamps
While a seashell lamp isn't the type for every one, for those that it does appeal to, they're fantastic creations and designs.
This one here is very full and busy, and would look good in a number of decors, themes and settings.

Gollum Pewter Collectible LOTR
Lord of the Rings Collectibles
This sculpture of Gollum is extraordinary to me, and one of the best that I've come across.
Called "One Ring to Rule Them All, which you can see in the center of the sphere, and was made to show Gollum in his endless frustration and fixation from the ring being just our of reach, even though he knew where it was at all times.
The sculpture is made of fine pewter and cold cast porcelain, and stands about 7 inches tall.

Collectibles | Oil Company Gas Globes
Gas Globe Collectibles
Gas Globes are a must collectible for those interested in the oil and gas industry, and there are many out there that are very easy to find and common, all the way to those that are very rare.
If you're interested in these little gems, you should contact someone who specializes in them, as many don't even make it to market or the eye of the general or collecting public because of customers who offer wish lists to companies who find them for them.

Vintage Advertising | Knitting Magazine Advertisement
Vintage Advertising
Vintage Advertising is a lot of fun to look at and gives us a snapshot of what life was like in the days of yore.
In this image, we have an advertisement from McCall's Needlework magazine from the fall and winter issue of 1950-1951.
It fascinating to think of women celebrating moving from a cloth tape measure to knitting needles which had them built right in.

Classic Cars | Chevrolet Bel Air
Classic Cars
The Chevy Bel Aire was first introduced to the public in 1953 by General Motors, and was immediately considered one of the top of its models.
Everything about the car from it cool headlights, compelling grills and even interesting door handles made it a classic right from the start.
The car holds its popularity long past its time of use, and will draw the attention of collectors and those who appreciate classic autos for a long time

This beautiful verdure 17th century antique wall tapestry is stunning to me. I really like the color and the turkey and ducks running around the in the image.
It is very busy, but in this case it doesn't bother me at all. Nice work.

Vintage Aircraft | Sikorsky S-38
Vintage Aircraft
Here's a nice photo of the Sikorsky S-38, an American-built amphibious aircraft which was first flown in 1928. It was used by the U.S. Navy at first, along with Pan American Airlines.
Only 101 of the Sikorsky S-38 aircraft were ever built, which were designed by Igor Sikorsky and first manufactured by the Sikorsky Manufacturing Corp., based in Long Island, New York.
